Join Author Eric Dregni for a discussion of "Vikings in the Attic" and the impact of Scandinavians in the Midwest.

Author Eric Dregni (For the Love of Cod, In Cod We Trust) will discuss his book "Vikings in the Attic." Join your library as Dregni leads us through the historic sites, cultural impact and traditions of Scandinavians in the Midwest.

This program is offered free-of-charge thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

About the branch

The Mahnomen library is located at 203 S Main St in the same building as the City Hall. The stone building was constructed in 1937 by the WPA and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The library offers public computers, in-house use laptops, free WiFi, and all the other amenities of a Lake Agassiz Regional Library Branch.
