Join us for a presentation by Master Gardener DMae Ceryes on how to best garden with the environment in mind.
Join us on the first Tuesday of the month for our Master Gardener series, presented by U of M Extension Becker County Master Gardeners. Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers whose mission is to educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using readily-available, up-to-date research-based information. The Master Gardener Program educational effort is designed to enhance the public’s quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment.
June's presentation will focus on nature-friendly gardening with Master Gardener DMae Ceryes. Are you wanting to learn to use resources more wisely, to mitigate some weather events, and to garden with the environment in mind? This presentation will focus on five main strategies to help you do just that.
Detroit Lakes Public Library
The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
