Join us to learn about housing rights with the Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota.

Join us for a presentation by the Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota on housing rights. This presentation will focus on the legal rights and responsibilities of tenants, addressing common housing issues such as eviction, lease agreements, and housing discrimination. It provides practical guidance on navigating housing-related legal challenges and accessing available resources for assistance. The presentation is free-of-charge.

Did you know? The Detroit Lakes Public Library offers access to a Legal Kiosk, which offers community members the ability to apply for civil legal aid services, access legal resources, and, in some cases, attend online meetings with attorneys and remote court hearings in privacy. This program is offered in partnership with Minnesota's Legal Kiosk Project. Learn more here.
