Join us for a fun day of card-making! Each month we learn a new technique or have a challenge. Work, visit, or get new ideas.

Bring your supplies and projects and work in a fun collaborative environment.

Each month we learn a new technique or have a challenge. Instructions, what you will need to bring for the technique & updates are on our Facebook event page. Look for the Funday Stampers event for February. 

The February inspiration is a Flip Flap Shutter Card. For this card you will need:

  • Colored Cardstock – card base 7” x 10” • Scored and folded at 5” 

  • Basic White Cardstock – 2 pieces middle layers 6⅜” x 4½” 

  • Colored Cardstock – shutter base → 3 pieces - 5⅞” x 4⅛” 

  • Colored Cardstock – shutter flaps → 3 pieces - 4⅛” x 2⅛” 

  • Designer Series Paper – design 1: 3 pieces - 2¾” x 1⅜” 

  • Designer Series Paper – design 2: 3 pieces - 2¾” x 1⅜” 

  • Designer Series Paper – design 1: 3 pieces - 4” x 1½” 

  • Basic White Cardstock – scraps for images, sentiments and arrows

  • Colored Cardstock – scraps for sentiment layers and pulley tabs

Don't want to make this technique? Feel free to work on your projects or just pop in for a visit.

About the branch

The Fertile Public Library is tucked inside the Duane Knutson Community Center on Mill Street across the street from the Main Street Station & Deli. The Fertile Library is a large one-room library with access to a small meeting room and auditorium that can be reserved through the city office and 24-hour access to WiFi.
