Join the Mahnomen Public Library at the Mahnomen High School. 201 S 1st St., for a presentation on the history and culture of the Indigenous people of Minnesota, including Ojibwe culture, contributions to history and an overview of Indigenous military services and the Code Talkers. This program will feature historian and site manager for the Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post Travis Zimmerman.

The Mahnomen library is located at 203 S Main St in the same building as the City Hall. The stone building was constructed in 1937 by the WPA and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The library offers public computers, in-house use laptops, free WiFi, and all the other amenities of a Lake Agassiz Regional Library Branch.
