Join your library at Hawley Senior Living, 923 5th St, to experience a unique musical event featuring the music and artistry of a professional double reed ensemble using modern instruments to perform modern scores from long-neglected musical manuscripts.
Composed of musicians from around the world, The New York Kammermusiker will celebrate the heritage of Minnesotans with skits and compositions hearkening back to the experiences of German and Norwegian immigrant homesteaders on the Minnesota prairies.
This program is offered free-of-charge and is made possible thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
