Join us as Master Gardener DMae Ceryes will share how to know when some common produce are ready to be harvested.

Join us on the first Tuesday of the month for our Master Gardener series, presented by U of M Extension Becker County Master Gardeners. Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers whose mission is to educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using readily-available, up-to-date research-based information. The Master Gardener Program educational effort is designed to enhance the public’s quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment.

August’s presentation will focus on getting the most out of your fruits and veggies. Whether you have gardened for years or whether this is your first year, you might be a bit stymied as to when to harvest particular garden produce. If you are wondering how and when to pick, dig, or pluck your bounty, in this session we will look into some common produce and how to know when they are “done”. There will be time for questions and sharing in addition to the presentation.
