Join us on the third Thursday of each month to discuss classic books. All are welcome to drop-in and share their reading experience!
Join us at the library to discuss literary classics. The genres will vary; we've got something for everyone! Our November pick is Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
The father of the March family is gone to fight in a war, leaving his wife and four daughters. Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy struggle and become closer as time passes. This is a largely autobiographical novel that shows the struggle between the duty to family and personal growth. It's filled with sisterly shenanigans, the pains of first love, death of a family member, and finding your place in the world.
Even if you've only seen the movies, listened to the audiobook, didn't agree with who got together, or would just like to learn more about it, stop on by to discuss this delightful story!
You can find the book here in our catalog. If you prefer Libby, you can find it here.
