Join us at Drafts Sports Bar & Grill on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:00 pm. We will be discussing "Solito" by Javier Zamora.
Solito is a memoir by Javier Zamora telling the story of his immigration journey as a child from El Salvador to the United States. We have copies available from a book club kit, and it is also in our collection. Libby has copies of the eBook and audiobook. The Books and Brews Book Club meets every fourth Tuesday every other month to discuss what they've been reading and to enjoy beverages. Appetizers are provided by the Friends of the Crookston Public Library; participants are responsible for the cost of their own food and drinks. All adults are welcome and no registration is required.
The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. next to the old Carnegie Library. The Crookston Library offers study carrels, a private meeting room, and the beautiful River Room for your individual use or group meeting needs.
