Join us for a very special princess Storytime featuring Minnesota's very own royalty Whitney McClain.

Join us for a very special princess Storytime with Minnesota's very own royalty Whitney McClain, former Miss Moorhead and current titleholder for Miss America/Miss Minnesota Opportunity. She will visit the library to share her message encouraging young children to know that they are not alone and they will always be enough.  We hope you'll share in the excitement as Miss McClain shares her favorite picture books and leads a craft activity on feelings.  Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite hero or princess!

About the branch

The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
