Farmer and retired science teacher Tom Jacobs from Snapper Bend Farm will teach sustainable soil practices in this workshop by creating Living Soil! Learn how to make biochar and to using vermaculture in your garden. Make richer and healthier soil that lowers acidity and has better water retention, all while reducing CO2. We will be putting together a soil mix, adding a few worms, and placing the mix and a plant into a pot for you to take home.
