Join the Detroit Lakes Library Club for a poetry reading from MN poet, Dr. Carol Ann Russell. Dr. Russell has published four books of poetry: The Red Envelope, Feast, Silver Dollar, and Gypsy Taxi. Dr. Russell has received grants and awards for her poetry, most recently the Artist Fellowship from MN Region 2 Arts Council. She has given readings and workshops at many universities and colleges and was selected as a Resident Poet at the American Academy in Rome, Italy and is also a member of the Oxford University Round Table. In 1999, Dr. Russell was selected as a Distinguished Alumna of St. Cloud University. Entertainment provided by Kendra Mohn. Feel free to come early for refreshments.
